School Information

MCA offers a hands-on curriculum to be used by any student, college-prep or not. It is designed to teach critical thinking skills, refine communication skills, and cause our children to be knowledgeable about their Biblical Christian worldview.

The objective in having a private Christian School is to obey the Scriptural imperative of Deuteronomy 6:5-7: "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children."

MCA is an extension of the Christian home in training young people for time and eternity in a Christian environment. Attendance at MCA is a privilege, not a right.

The goals of this school are not to reform but to train Christian youth in every ability in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship.

We do not apologize for our high standards of morality and Christian behavior. A Christian school cannot save your child. Only Jesus Christ can save.

We accept students transferring from public or private schools, but reserve the right to refuse any child who has been expelled for drug or alcohol problems, emotional disorders (ED), problems with authority and refusal to submit to authority or any student that is a ward of the state, has been in a juvenile detention center, or has been expelled from their previous school.

MorningStar Christian Academy is a school with Christian based curriculum. If you do not care about the school or about your child receiving a Christian education, MCA may not be the school for your student. We may not be able to help your student and they may be a distraction to the other students. If this happens, the student will be dismissed.

MorningStar Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.

To apply or obtain more information, please give us a call. We will set up an appointment with you and your student to show the school and explain how it all works.
